Gordon Stack
Gordon was born in Minnesota December 6, 1959. In 1973 he moved to Montana with his family where he graduated High School and attended Eastern Montana College. Gordon attended a broadcasting class at the Billing Career Center and began his radio career at a local Top 40 Radio station in Billings. He worked at three Billings stations before he was offered his first programming position at a station in Buffalo, Wyoming.
After a couple years in Buffalo, Gordon moved to Sheridan, Wyoming where he eventually became the Program Director for the second oldest station in the state.
While Gordon was in Wyoming, his parents transferred from Montana to Tennessee and encouraged Gordon to make the move south. After moving to Tennessee in 1990, Gordon became the morning personality at a Cookeville oldies station and then did some work for a local television station before joining 102.5 WOW COUNTRY as the station’s production director. After the station sold to Peg Broadcasting, Gordon became the Program Director and then Operations Manager when the company expanded to four stations.
You can hear Gordon weekdays on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
He has been involved with many charities including helping create the Christmas on the Mountain Charity motorcycle ride. Gordon also does various charity works in connection with Peg Broadcasting’s community involvement.
