A kayaker was found unconscious Saturday afternoon on Chickamauga Lake in Hamilton County. Officials say 62-year-old George Knight was pronounced dead at the scene. He was reportedly kayaking alone when he was spotted floating in the water by a family member. His body has been sent to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s office and the incident is under investigation.
