Cumberland County Commissioners, in regular session for April, put into writing an agreement that the county would not be required to pay property owner fees on delinquent tax properties. The agreement had been a verbal arrangement that allowed the county to take possession of lots for failure to pay taxes. Once accepted by the county, they can be sold to get them back on the tax roll and the POA assessments. In other action, commissioners approved offers by Bluegrass Holdings and Future State Trust for several delinquent properties in Fairfield and Tansi.
