A Kentucky man accidentally shot himself in the foot Saturday morning while shopping at a Crossville thrift store. According to reports, Crossville Police were dispatched to the Threads Of Hope around 11:27 a.m. where an employee told them that a man was attempting to pay for merchandise, reached into his pocket, followed by a loud bang and blood coming from his right foot. The man, later identified as 76-year-old Robert William Anthony, placed his money on the counter and said he did not want an ambulance and that he would drive himself to the Emergency Room. Police located Mr. Anthony at the ER who told them that his gun fell out of his pocket while he was retrieving change. The gun discharged when it hit the floor and the bullet passed through his foot. A .22 Magnum projectile was found at Threads Of Hope and entered into evidence.
