School board plans to re-examine face-covering policy

7th District School Board Member Rebecca Hamby called for a revisit of the face covering policy during the monthly meeting of the Cumberland County Board of Education. Hamby made the request under old business saying it was time to consider making face coverings optional. Board Chairman Jim Inman agreed but felt it would be more appropriate to address the matter after seeing the COVID numbers that follow next week’s spring break.
