The Ms. Senior Cumberland County Association and the Veterans Organizations of Cumberland County have once again joined together for their annual charity fundraiser, running now through Veterans Day.
The program helps Cumberland County veterans in need throughout the year. What began as an effort to provide family food boxes during the holidays has expanded to include shelter assistance, home safety services and food gift cards for local veterans and their families.
The 2026 effort is supported by the Military Memorial Museum, Vietnam Veterans of America, Fleet Reserve Association and Ladies Auxiliary FRA, VFW Post 5025, Marine Corps League, American Legion Post 163, Good Samaritans, Elks Lodge #2751 and the Ms. Senior Cumberland County queens.
Organizers are also grateful for the generous support of local businesses and individuals. Last year, community donations totaled more than $20,000, helping provide assistance directly to Cumberland County veterans.
