It was a four goal night for the 16th ranked Tennessee Lady Vols soccer teamed as they honored their seniors in the early season home game on Sunday. The game saw Regal Soccer Stadium’s second highest attendance in history with 4,793 at the game.
#16 Tennessee hosted Western Carolina where they shut out the Catamounts giving Lauryn Berry her third consecutive clean sheet. The Lady Vols take a 4-0 win over the team out of Cullowhee.
Kylee Simmons found the back of the net early for UT scoring in the 1st minute. Later in the 10th minute Lady Vol star Shae O’Rourke scored her first goal since being out with an ACL injury. Finally Jayla Blue and Olivia Feagin scored in the 68th and 84th minute respectively.
#16 Tennessee has a big matchup for their next game as they go on the road to take on #13 Virginia on September 3rd.
