The Crossville City Council opened its regular session on Tuesday evening with a somber tribute to former Mayor and longtime public servant James Mayberry, who recently passed away. With Mayberry’s seat left vacant, the council took a formal moment of silence to reflect on his leadership and dedication to the community. Mayor RJ Crawford said, “While we mourn his passing, we are grateful for his years of service and the legacy he leaves behind.”
