The Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that it was on the scene of a suspected animal hoarding case.
The Sheriff’s Office said it was working alongside the appropriate agencies and animal partners to assess the condition of the animals and ensure they receive the care and attention they need.
Meanwhile, the Rhea County Animal Shelter announced Tuesday that it was closed to the public as their team assisted with a large-scale animal hoarding case.
The Animal Shelter said approximately 100 animals need the community’s help including large dogs, small dogs, Collies, Shepherds, Beagles, puppies, kittens, gerbils, birds and more.
