Heavy rain caused severe flooding in Fentress County that resulted in major road damage over the weekend. On Sunday, Fentress County Road Superintendent Ryan Reed reported flooding and damage throughout the Pall Mall and East Jamestown area. A large section of Crockett Road completely washed away. There was also significant damage on Ridgetop Drive and several other roads. Water and debris also covered the Wolf River Loop bridge.
Everyone is urged to drive with caution and watch for signs warning of damage and detours.
