A fire involving a pickup truck hauling a box trailer full of fireworks on I-75 northbound in Hamilton County Saturday evening stopped traffic in both directions. It happened past the Ooltewah exit and fireworks could be seen going off in different directions. Firefighters were able to prevent the truck from going up in flames but the box trailer was completely destroyed. There were no injuries.
