Former Crossville Police Officer J.C. Hancock has passed away. He was 62. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Hancock served more than three decades in local law enforcement. With the Crossville Police Department, Administrative Lieutenant J.C. Hancock served as a Detective Sergeant, Patrol Staff Sergeant, DARE and School Resource Officer, Driving School Instructor and was responsible for maintaining the certified officer’s POST training requirements. Services will be announced at a later date.
