An investigation by the TBI and Rockwood Police Department has resulted in the arrest of a Rockwood man in connection to the shooting of his ex-wife at a residence along North Trinity Avenue. The victim was airlifted to an area hospital. On Friday, April 3, 2026 warrants were obtained for the victim’s ex-husband, 60-year-old Michael Scarbro, who has been charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
