The City of Crossville has met with local agencies to create a plan for upcoming weather. Below you will find our Salt Zone Map. The City has 6 trucks that are able to salt the roads. Each zone will have a truck assigned to it. The pre-treatment of City streets will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, January 24th. As the day goes on, road conditions will be evaluated and City crews will make arrangements to treat areas accordingly. City crews will be out throughout the weekend. Please use caution when on the road and near our crews. Safety is our top priority.
We strongly encourage citizens to stay home unless absolutely necessary. Please use local media (radio, news stations) and social media as a source to find out road condition. We will provide updates on our page of the condition of City streets when able.
Please do NOT use 911/Dispatch to find out road conditions. It is of the utmost importance that these lines are left open for true emergencies. (Image courtesy City of Crossville)
