A vehicle reported stolen out of Jackson County was recovered Thanksgiving Day in Mayland. Cumberland County Deputies were called to a residence on Highway 70 North after the homeowner reported squatters. Two people were found inside the residence; 43-year-old Winfred Gerald Selby and 38-year-old Heather Brady, of Cookeville. Authorities also recovered a stolen 1996 green Chevrolet pickup truck valued at $3,500. Jackson County requested to work the incident and placed both individuals in custody and transported them and the truck back to Jackson County.
