A Crossville woman’s fishing trip came to an abrupt end after her vehicle rolled into a pond. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 1800 block of Highway 70 East around 6pm Saturday (11/22/2025) to find a 2024 black Ford Escape with its front end entirely submerged in the water. The owner stated she was attempting to park her vehicle to fish when her foot got stuck and the vehicle rolled into the pond. The police report did not list any injuries.
