Two children died in Overton County from injuries sustained in a house fire Saturday afternoon (11/15/20250. Firefighters were dispatched around 1:30pm to a home on Railroad Street in Livingston. Ten people were taken to the hospital where the two children, between ages of 2 and 9, passed away. One firefighter reportedly suffered burns while battling the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Upper Cumberland Foster Closet says local churches have provided an Airbnb for two weeks for the family. The organization is also collection donations.
