On Friday, November 14, 2025, at approximately 10:58 am, PCSO Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a White Ford Econoline Van pulling an enclosed trailer on Hwy 111 Southbound at Spring Creek Rd.
Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputies noticed there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. In total, 18 passengers were in the van. 3 of the 18 passengers were women, and 2 of the 18 passengers were juveniles, aged 3 and 4. 3 of the passengers are confirmed illegal aliens, and the rest of the passengers are still under an ICE investigation. Deputies also seized multiple pounds of marijuara from different locations inside the van.
The 16 adult passengers were taken into custody and transported to the Putnam County Jail, where they will be charged with Child Endangerment, along with pending drug charges. The 2 juveniles are in DCS custody.
This is an ACTIVE, ONGOING investigation. Sheriff Farris and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office will release more information when available.
