Cumberland County Sheriff Casey Cox has issued a firearms safety reminder with the 4 Cardinal Safety Rules:
- Treat Every firearm as if it were loaded!
- Never point the firearm at anything you aren’t willing to destroy!
- Keep your finger off the trigger and outside of the trigger guard until you are prepared to fire!
- Be sure of your target and what is beyond it!
