Crossville Woman Charged With Aggravated Cruetly To Animals After Dead Dogs Found in Apartment

Crossville Police have charged 23-year-old Karly Lynn Dishman-Stottlemire with 3 counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals after dead dogs were reportedly found in her apartment at Heatheridge Circle.  Authorities say the animals had been deceased for more than a day and there were no food or water bowls inside the apartment. It appears that Ms. Dishman tried to give the dogs away in August. She told police she had left the water running and food for the puppies in the bathtub. Dishman was transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center.
