A Crossville woman was charged after Cumberland County Deputies say she led them on a slow speed chase in Crab Orchard. Saturday night (9/6/2025) Deputies attempted to pull over 39-year-old Jessica M. Brown for a missing tag light when they say she slowly drove over half a mile before turning into a grassy area near the woods. When the vehicle stopped, the passenger, identified as 30-year-old Gary Allen Haney, exited and ran into the woods. Haney, who has multiple warrants, had evaded police on a four-wheeler Thursday night (9/4/2025). Once again, Mr. Haney got away. Ms. Brown was taken to the Cumberland County Justice Center where she was charged with Evading Arrest.
