Crossville Police Arrest Woman for Arson

On August 27^th (2025), Police arrested 47-year-old Allison Parsons, of Sparta, after she reportedly tried to set fire to a residence on Oak Grove Street in Crossville. When police arrived they found Parsons standing outside with lighters next to a couch that was on fire in the middle of the yard.  A wooden table against the residence was also burning. Police assisted firefighters with putting out the blazes.  When Police asked if her goal was to commit arson, Parsons said yes.  Parsons was transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center and served warrants for Arson, Reckless Endangerment and Reckless Burning.
