University of Tennessee Signs Lifetime Contract With Coach Rick Barnes

The University of Tennessee has signed a lifetime contract with head men’s basketball coach Rich Barnes.  Thursday on the Mike Keith Show Athletic Director Danny White said, “Rick has taken our program to unprecedented heights, and we are absolutely thrilled to have him continue coaching on Rocky Top for the rest of his career.”  The 71-year-old Coach Barnes and the Vols start the regular season on November 3^rd with a home game against Mercer.
