Former Cumberland County Circuit Court Clerk Larry Sherrill has passed away following a lengthy illness. He was 58. Mr. Sherrill served five terms as Circuit Court Clerk when he decided not to seek re-election in 2018. Sherrill was also a former deputy and investigator with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. Larry Vaughn Sherrill was a devoted husband, father, and an especially proud grandfather. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM CDT at Cumberland Fellowship Church in Crossville, Tennessee. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM, with burial immediately after in Dogwood Cemetery in Grandview, Tennessee. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
