Livingston Man Charged With Murdering Girlfriend
A Livingston man has been arrested for murdering his girlfriend. Authorities have charged 49-year-old Edward Randolph with one count of 1st Degree Murder and one count of Abuse of a Corpse in the death of 47-year-old Hope Parrot. Her body was found July 31st (2025) on Sunk Cane Road in Overton County. Investigators say Randolph killed Hope Parrot and transported her body in a refrigerator, which he later set on fire. He was booked into the Overton County Jail on a $50,000,000 bond. The homicide investigation is ongoing.

An investigation is underway in Overton County after a human body was found inside a burning refrigerator that had been dumped in a ravine along Sunk Cane Road at State Highway 164. The remains were sent to the Medical Examiner to determine the gender, identity and exact cause of death. Anyone with information is asked to call the TBI or Overton County Sheriff’s Department.
