Sheriff Eddie Farris and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office congratulates Lt. Casey Flatt on his retirement after 32 years of service. Lt. Flatt began his career as a Reserve Deputy under Sheriff Jerry Abston and worked his way through the ranks from Corrections to Patrol, including being Putnam County’s first SRO Deputy and leading the D.A.R.E program. Since Sheriff Farris has been office, Lt. Flatt has served as supervisor of the Juvenile Detention Center. Lt. Flatt is also President of local FOP Cordell Hull Lodge 10.
