Two people were injured in a crash at the intersection of Lantana Road and Kearney Drive Friday night. It happened around 6pm. According to Crossville Police, 41-year-old Joshua Sylvester Watson, of Pikeville, was attempting to turn onto Kearney Drive when he reportedly pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Samantha Marie Howard. Mrs. Howard was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment. Mr. Watson said he was hurting but refused to be transported to the hospital. Watson was issued a misdemeanor citation in lieu of arrest for not having insurance.
