A missing man and his dog were found alive in West Tennessee early Tuesday morning (7/8/2025). The TBI reports Special Agents, Task Force N.O.A.H. and other partner agencies assisted Haywood County EMA in locating the man who had disappeared Monday while searching for his lost dog. The Agency says the victim and his dog, Baxter, were both found alive in a heavily wooded and swampy area. The man was transported for medical evaluation. Baxter was taken to the command post where he was checked for injuries and given a much-needed bath by TBI agents. (Photos courtesy TBI Facebook.)
