Crossville City Council defers water authority appointment

One of Crossville’s representatives on the Cumberland Plateau Water Authority, Jeff Freitag, has opted out of the authority when his term ends on December 31^st. The appointment of a replacement is to be made by the Crossville Mayor with approval by a council vote. Council members decided to defer the appointment during Tuesday’s regular session until the new council is seated.
