The Rockwood Police Department and the Roane County Sheriff’s Department are investigating after three bodies were found in a home in Rockwood Thursday morning. Two men and one woman were discovered deceased in the house on Mountain View Road around 9:30am. The brother of one of the victims reportedly went to the home Wednesday morning to drop off breakfast and thought they were all sleeping. When he went back Thursday morning and realized the trio had not moved since the previous day and were unresponsive, he called 911. The door to the house was also open. All three bodies have been sent to the Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death and foul play cannot be ruled out at this time.
