FBI Investigating After Noose Found At Y-12 Facility In Oak Ridge, TN

An extensive internal investigation is underway at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge after an employee discovered a noose in a part of the building under construction.  A Y-12 spokesperson said they are increasing inspections of work areas and plan to take “immediate and severe action toward any employee or subcontractor who is determined to have been involved in the incident.” Tennessee U.S. Representative Jim Cooper sent out a Tweet that the FBI is also investigating the incident.
