Chattanooga VA Clinic Employee Burned In Flash Fire In X-Ray Room Wednesday

An employee at Chattanooga’s Veterans Administration (VA) clinic on Shallowford Road was burned in a flash fire in an X-ray room Wednesday afternoon. The flash fire reportedly started in an oxygen storage tank area. The worker was rushed to the hospital but the extent of their injuries was not immediately released.  The fire was out by the time firefighters arrived. No word on what caused the fire.
