Crossville City Attorney William T. Ridley Appointed Interim Cumberland County General Sessions Judge

Crossville City Attorney William T. Ridley was sworn in Friday afternoon  as interim Cumberland County General Sessions Judge.  The bench became vacant with the death of Judge Larry Warner who was not seeking re-election this year. Judge Ridley operates a law practice in Crossville and has been serving as the City Attorney.  Ridley is also running unopposed in the May 3 Republican primary for Circuit Court Judge 13th Judicial District Part 1.  He will face incumbent Amy Turnbull Hollars in the August 4 general election.  Judge Ridley’s first day of General Sessions Court will be Monday, April 4, 2022.   Judge Ridley will serve until the next General Sessions judge is sworn in following the August 4 general election.   Nathan Clouse, Ivy Gardner Mayberry and Amanda Worley are all running for General Sessions Judge.
