The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of a close ally and colleague. Amy Jones Gray passed away from complications from COVID-19. She was 39. Mrs. Gray served as a supervisor in the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services (DCS) and oversaw investigations. Through her work, Amy built many strong working relationships with the Loudon County Criminal Investigations Division Detectives. Her work positively impacted the lives of countless children since her employment with the State of Tennessee began in 2006. She leaves behind her husband, Dewayne Gray, who serves with the Rockwood Police Department and a 17 year-old stepdaughter.
