Three men and two women were rescued Thursday morning in Lawrence County after their pickup truck was swept off a flooded roadway. It happened shortly after midnight and the victims managed to escape the truck and flood waters on their own. But since they had no cell service, they had to hike up a hill to call 911. Authorities got the call around 3:30am. The victims were treated at the scene for hypothermia and refused to be taken to a medical facility. Their names were not immediately released.
