Cumberland County Records Two More COVID-19 Deaths, Toll Now 272

Two more people have died from COVID-19 in Cumberland County.  On Monday, December 27, 2021 the Tennessee Department of Health reported the county’s coronavirus death toll at 272.  Positive case rose by 41 to 11,950 on Monday, December 27, 2021.  Active cases fell by 3 to 149 on Monday, December 27, 2021.  Statewide, 15,200 additional COVID-19 cases were reported over the Christmas holiday, bringing the total to 1,382,121.  The Tennessee Department of Health reports the statewide death toll rose by 225 to a total of 20,613, which is 31 people less than the Chief Medical Examiner’s findings of 20,644 deaths since spring 2020.
