The Cumberland County Commission has accepted an offer of $53,040 from the Tennessee Department of Transportation to purchase the property of the current Woody Convenience Center for the expansion of Highway 127 North. In his news release, Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster reports that the County Commission has approved a resolution to purchase approximately 3.6 acres of property about a mile from the current convenience center at a cost of $52,300. This will be the site of the new Woody Convenience Center.
