The stepdaughter of American Idol alum Chris Daughtry was found deceased at a Fentress County, Tennessee home late Friday night and an investigation into the death of 25-year-old Hannah Price is underway. Her boyfriend, Bobby Jolly, of Rockwood, was taken into custody at the Putnam County jail on an unrelated charge. District Attorney General Jared Effler released a statement Monday morning saying despite media reports, it is premature and irresponsible to classify Price’s death as a homicide. The DA also said no one has been arrested pertaining to the death of Ms. Price. Daughtry has postponed his tour to be home with family.
In April, both Jolly and Price were arrested for aggravated assault following a hit-and-run accident on I-40 in Putnam County. The pair reportedly admitted to using a gun to intimidate the victim.
