The TSSAA has honored Peg Broadcasting’s Jay Walker with the A.F. Bridges Sportsmanship Award, naming Walker the 2020-2021 Contributor Of The Year. The award is “Given in recognition for displaying the high ideals of integrity and ethics and for the examples of citizenship and sportsmanship”. In addition to providing years of outstanding sports coverage, Walker has also served as News Director for the Peg Broadcasting family of stations. Walker is an avid photographer and currently shares his love of the outdoors with his own hiking show, “Tennessee Trails with Jay Walker” on Ben Lomand TV out of McMinnville.
