Don Wells, the father of missing 5-year-old Summer Wells, was arrested Sunday morning for DUI and multiple other charges. The 56-year-old was released on a $5,750 bond, according to Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office. The family released a statement on social media regarding Mr. Wells’ arrest saying they needed cigarettes and it was a stupid decision that he got behind the wheel. They also asked everyone to keep praying for them. On June 15, Summer Wells was reported missing from her Beech Creek community home in Hawkins County.
