The Sevier County General Sessions Court Clerk and another person were found dead in a home over the weekend and the TBI is assisting the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation. The deceased, identified as Connie Elaine Holt and Eric Neal Peters, were discovered in the home on Sunday. Holt took the General Sessions Court Clerk office in September 2002. Authorities did not immediately release details surrounding their deaths.
