Local health departments across the state will be administering COVID-19 booster doses to certain populations, beginning Monday, October 25. The booster shots will be given to those age 65 and older. They will also be given to those age 18 and older who live in long-term care settings, have underlying medical conditions, or work or live in high-risk settings. Not all types of vaccine will be available at all sites. Individuals are encouraged to check vaccines.gov to verify eligibility and to find a location that is offering their preferred COVID-19 vaccine.
