Cumberland County Commissioners were provided financial updates during the regular monthly meeting on Monday. According to Mayor Allen Foster’s notes, sales tax collections for the General Purpose School Fund came in at $1.1 million which is $119,172 above projections. Year to date collections are at $2.2 million. Collections for hotel/motel taxes are up from last year at $256,650, while Emergency Medical Services collections were steady for the month at $336,641.
