Historic sites in Morgan and Rhea counties have been named recipients of Tennessee Historic Development Grants. The Morgan County Tourism Alliances has been awarded $69,000 to rehabilitate the Tanner Store in Wartburg, Tennessee. In Rhea county, Lindsey S. Bamber will get $25,500 to rehabilitate the Trinity Chapel in Dayton. The program will provide more than $4 million to 26 projects that aim to renovate and preserve historic buildings across the state.
