The Tennessee Department of Transportation has announced that the contractor will resume the resurfacing project on State Route 62 in Fentress County the week of Monday, September 20, 2021. The project will extend from east of SR-28 (US-127 / LM 5.8) to the Morgan County line (LM12.7). The roadway will be reduced to one lane of traffic. Flaggers and advanced warning signs will be utilized to warn motorists of the location of the work. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey posted speed limit through the work zone.
