The Crossville City Council voted 3-2 approving a motion instructing the city attorney to proceed with contracts to purchase property on Main Street. The site, if acquired, would be the potential location of a proposed indoor recreation facility. Council Member Rob Harrison voted against the motion, saying while he supported the facility, he was not prepared to pay what will likely be the asking price for the Main Street Property. Council Member RJ Crawford also voted against, saying he was in favor of the Webb Avenue location.
