The father of Baby Joe Clyde Daniels has been sentenced to 51-years in prison in his son’s death.  Joseph Daniels, of Dickson County, appeared in court on Tuesday after he was found guilty on charges of felony murder, second-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, filing a false report, and evidence tampering in connection with the death of his 5-year-old son.  Baby Joe reportedly had autism and was non-verbal.  Daniels called police in April 2018 to report his son missing. Police say the father later confessed to fatally beating the boy after the child urinated on the floor.  He said he dumped his son’s body in a rural area.  The child’s body has never been found.  A motions hearing for the boy’s mother, Krystal Daniels, is scheduled for November 12, 2021 and her trial is set to begin on February 1, 2022.
