The I-40 bridge between Tennessee and Arkansas is set to reopen the eastbound lanes to limited traffic on Monday morning, August 2, 2021. The bridge was closed on May 11 after inspectors found a crack in a steel beam that threatened the bridge’s structural integrity. The westbound lanes are scheduled to reopen August 6.
