A manhunt is underway for two inmates who escaped from the Fentress County Jail in Jamestown around 8am Monday. They reportedly stole a correctional officer’s vehicle, left the vehicle on Delk Street and were last seen fleeing on foot in the vicinity of Tinchtown Road near the Highland Manor Winery. Authorities are looking for Casey Ridenour age 22 approx. 5’11 154 pounds, Brown Hair, Blue Eyes possibly wearing glasses and has a brown beard. According to Fentress County E-911, Ridenour has charges leading from a grand jury indictment in Roane County last month for second-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. Police are also looking for Charles Kennedy 35 years old approx. 6’4 145 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, bearded, and possibly wearing glasses. Charges for Kennedy included possession, theft and tampering with evidence. Ridenour and Kennedy were last seen wearing orange pants and white t-shirts. The Jamestown City Police, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Crossville City Police, Tennessee Highway Patrol Air and Ground units, and Roane County Sheriff’s Department are all assisting with the search of the escaped inmates. If you see someone wearing orange pants with a white shirt or If you see something suspicious in the Tinchtown Road area, do not approach these suspects.
