The economic impact of local sales remains strong in Cumberland County and in Crossville. According to the latest figures, Crossville collected over $887,000 for April, bringing the year-to-date total to $9.56 million, up by almost $1 million from last year. Other tax collections were up for the period as well with the city taking in $751,000 for the year in beer tax, while collections for liquor sales total $629,000 for the year.
